![]() Whether I put it to sleep again manually or on timeout, some open and evenĬlosed apps on my restart say "did not shut down properly". SP3 still wakes almost immediately after going to sleep. So, my bet is that is was a power/hardware defect. I think I did that with the first SP3 but not positive, so maybe it was a problem that the updates corrected - but I suspect the others with this problem had updates installed. ![]() The auto restart after updates and I'm using the MS Mail client (did not install emClient this time). ![]() The only things I'm aware that I did differently with new setup was per spideysteve's post below, I unchecked My replacement SP3 does not have this problem, so it must have been a hardware issue. I finally decided this is an unfixable glitch and I'mĮxchanging my SP3 for a new one (same conclusion as here - ) I'm sorry for the many updates/edits to my post but as I tried suggestions from many forums including a hard reset, I thought this was fixed but the problem always returns. On wake from sleep it appears that an improper shutdown occurred. ![]() Update 1: Same problem here with docked, new Surface Pro 3 & Win10 Pro (installed at purchase, not an upgrade), remote monitor. ![]()
